How long has it been since you were diagnosed?

Hello everyone. I've been thinking a lot about the journey we go through living with a chronic illness. At first is can be shocking, and sometimes we can even go through a state of denial. Somewhere along the road we decide to take control and make better decisions for our health. We make adjustments to our daily routine or some days scrap the routine entirely. In the end it is what it is, and we make the best of it in a unique and personal way. No two journeys are exactly the same. What has your journey been like?

Since I found out I had breast cancer in May of this year…my life has been a roller coaster and had the tumor removed on Aug. 31st but have alot of questions about the upcoming chemo and radiation treatments. I have a port put in getting ready but unsure how soon I need this treatment. I have a Dr. apt for my cancer Dr. to answer some of my questions but feel alone and need others going through it to tell me how they are doing with it. Everyone is different and not sure how I will be affected. Thank you. Angel U

I'm sorry to hear what a journey you've been on this year. I think the not knowing what's next is the worst part- at least for me. I hope your treatments go well. Keep us posted.
